The Wedding Day!

Jami's wedding Monday was absolutely stunning. It was everything she always dreamed of for her wedding day. The ceremony took place at 5:00 right on the beach, with 10 of us in attendance. We weren't sure how the weather would hold up...having a wedding in the Caribbean during peak hurricane season can be a little risky, but thank God everything was PERFECT! When Jami was little, she used to always say that she wanted to get married on a horse...amazingly, there happened to be 2 horses along the water's edge that Jami and Ryan were able to ride on right after the ceremony!

Jami looked absolutely beautiful in her wedding gown. She chose a gorgeous Mori Lee gown, from their Voyage Collection. A very special THANK YOU goes out to Madeline, Arthur, Mitchell, Steve, Marco, Tom, and EVERYONE at Mori Lee who made it possible for Jami to wear her dream dress yesterday. You guys are truly the BEST! Myself, my mom (mother of the bride), and Dawn (mother of the groom) all wore dresses from designer Bill Levkoff. My two little girls wore dresses compliments of Jordan Fashions...THANK YOU to Eric Greco, owner of Jordan Fashions, for making it possible for my girls to have such beautiful gowns!

Another very special THANK YOU goes out to Rodney and Vickie Clark of Clark Photography who traveled all this way with us to capture Jami's special day. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. From what I have seen so far, I really don't know how she will choose the photos for her album, they are all so good! Thanks to Rodney and Vickie, we have all of the precious moments of the wedding captured on film!

Enjoy the pictures below from Jami's special day. And...CONGRATULATIONS Jami and Ryan!! Enjoy the Honeymoon, we love you!

Jami and Ryan's Wedding Preparations

All of us family (and our photographer, Rodney Clark, and his wife) arrived on the island of St. Kitts yesterday afternoon. What a gorgeous island! Tomorrow is the big day! We are all so excited. We've been spending our time together at the resort just enjoying the sun and sand, and enjoying our time getting to know Ryan's family better. With the exception of one piece of baggage being "lost", everything has been perfect! We have some family pictures on the beach planned for this evening, and then a nice rehearsal dinner at a local restaurant that Jami and Ryan picked out. We'll be sure to post plenty of pictures of the wedding tomorrow! Here are a few pictures of what we've experienced so far:

Landing at St. Kitts. It is absolutely beautiful!

Anxiously waiting for 5:00 Monday to arrive, when they will become Mr. and Mrs. Wagner!

Destination weddings are all the rage!

Has anyone else noticed that more and more brides and grooms are opting out of the traditional "church wedding" and choosing to run away and get married at some tropical location? It seems like more and more of the brides that I work with are headed to the beach to get married, and are looking for a wedding gown that is appropriate for a wedding in the sun and sand! Well, if you know our bridal consultant (and my sister), Jami Resh, then you know that she is no exception to this rule! Jami and Ryan left this morning to head down to the Caribbean island of St. Kitts to prepare for their September 6th wedding. We received a message from Jami this morning saying that she was 1 of 3 girls walking on the plane with a wedding gown in hand and headed to the Caribbean! How cool! 12 of us will be joining Jami and Ryan this weekend, and you can be sure that we will be posting plenty of pictures from the wedding, especially so you can see what kind of dress Jami chose!

On that note, I thought it would be fun to show a couple of the hottest destination dresses that we carry from Mori Lee. All of them are very fun, comfortable, and easy to move in. Congratulations to all of you destination brides out there!
